Q: How do I talk to you?
A: All of my lessons are given using Skype video chat. Skype is available as a phone app, an app for tablets, and for desktop and notebook computers (both Mac and PC.) Skype is free to download and free to use. If you don't currently have Skype, you can download it here: SKYPE WEBSITE
Q: Can I talk to you BEFORE I buy lessons?
A: Yes. In fact, I strongly recommend that all new students have a 30-minute FREE TRIAL lesson with me before they BUY LESSONS. I want to (1) get to know you, (2) discuss your English goals, (3) check your English level, and (4) talk about your schedule before starting our regular lessons together.
Q: What kinds of lessons do you offer?
A: Every student has different needs. During your 30-minute FREE TRIAL lesson, we will discuss what English skills you would like to improve and what types of lessons are right for you. Here are some of the types of lessons that I offer:
ENGLISH CONVERSATION AND PRONUNCIATION: You are not alone. Speaking is the one area that every non-native English speaker would like to improve. Our lessons together will give you the practice and experience you need to take your English to the next level.
ENGLISH GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY: English grammar is difficult and often confusing (perfect tense, phrasal verbs, articles, prepositions, etc.) I will help to identify your weak points and patiently guide you as you improve.
LESSONS FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS: Believe it or not, learning English can be FUN. My lessons for kids feature a mix of different activities to keep them laughing and learning.
BUSINESS ENGLISH: A good knowledge of English is essential for many careers. My students include business men and women from some of the world's biggest companies. I take your success as seriously as you do.
TOEFL AND IELTS EXAMS: A better exam score can open the doors to a new school, a new job, or even a new country. I can help you to turn a good score into a great score.
JOB INTERVIEW PRACTICE AND PREPARATION: We review the most common types of interview questions and discuss tricks and traps. We also do practice interviews to help you gain confidence and to give your answers more power.
EDITING HELP: Important e-mails and documents. CVs and resumes. Powerpoint presentations and speeches. Applications and essays. I will work with you to make sure your writing in English is clear, natural, and easy to understand.
Q: How much are your lessons?
A: Each 45-minute English lesson is $20 US. Each 60-minute English lesson is $25 US. When you buy the special 10 lesson package, you get 1 lesson free.

Q: How do I pay for my lessons?
A: My students pay for their lessons in 2 different ways:
1. Some of my students prefer to buy their lessons directly from the website:

I require students who choose this method of payment to buy a lesson(s) before their scheduled lesson time. I will notify you when your number of lessons is getting low.
2. Some of my students prefer to be sent a bill via PayPal following each lesson. In cases where a student is taking multiple lessons per week, I will send the bill via PayPal immediately following the last lesson of the week. I require that the bill for previous week's lesson(s) be paid in full before the start of the first lesson the following week. Q: I scheduled a lesson with you, but my plans have changed. Is it OK to cancel my lesson?
A: Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Cancel (Student)-more than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson: Free Cancel
Cancel /NoShow(Student)-less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson: The student must pay full price for that lesson, or one lesson will be deducted from the student's lesson total.
Cancel (Teacher)- more than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson: Free Cancel
Cancel /No Show(Teacher)- less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson: If I cancel less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson for ANY REASON, your next lesson with me is free.
